EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The City of Union, Iowa, is accepting applications for a Public Works maintenance department position.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* grounds maintenance
*snow removal
*property maintenance *other municipal systems operations.
The applicant must have:
* high school diploma or equivalent
*speak and write fluent English;
*have a valid Iowa Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Air Brakes Endorsement;
*participate in an on-going IDOT approved drug testing program.
*Previous municipal maintenance experience is preferred.
This is a regular part-time position for 20-25 hours per week,
Monday - Friday, with mandatory emergency response duty.
Compensation will be based on experience.
